For players 2001 AAA & older
This 8 week program will cover all 8 Edges and the skills that use all of these edges, such as crossovers and turns. The player will further develop their balance and body control while skating. Balance drills will be repeated every session with added complexity each skate. Emphasis will be placed on proper body position (head, shoulders, core, hips, knees, feet) Forward Stride will be covered.
This skate will be an even paced, focusing on proper technique – which leads to speed.
A player could easily skate a second session with higher tempo drills/skills after this skate (ie Fast Feet & Forward Stride).

If players fundamental skating skills are not at an advanced level the player may be asked to leave the sessions. Several years of previous Power skating instruction required.
